About Us
Labour of Love is a newsletter exploring labour on screen written collaboratively by Mayanne Soret and Keno Katsuda.
Mayanne Soret (she/her)
Mayanne is a writer and researcher currently based in France, formerly based in Scotland. She writes and speaks about digital culture, media and disability, with words in Dazed, The Skinny, Polyester and Art UK among others. She used to work in communication for theatre, and was once one third of internet fave @TabloidArtHistory. She loves watching TV, getting dressed up and supporting her local library. Star Trek is very important to her. Her Instagram is here and her Letterboxd is here.
Keno Katsuda (she/they)
Keno is a writer and organiser who currently lives in Tokyo. She started her career working in the film and television industry but burned out and got into trade unionism instead. She has previously written for outlets including Teen Vogue, The Guardian, and Little White Lies. She loves karaoke, watching movies about the financial crisis, and befriending dogs in the park. Keno’s personal website is here.
Our visual identity was created by Kotta Katsuda.
